About the event

Which film provides the best human geography look at mobility?

The French film À plein temps (Full Time / Tatt av tiden) from 2021 won the competition for the best human geography perspective on mobility at the 2024 Winter Seminar in Human Geography. The film is a claustrophobic drama film about a single mother in a perpetual time crunch due to a train strike. It was described by the film magazine as a kind of public transport thriller! In terms of human geography, the film says something about both mobility and lack of mobility, in the city and in working life.

PROGRAM
17:45: Introduction by Aleksander Bern.
18:00: Film screening of Taken from Time.
After the screening: Panel discussion with Emma Arnold and Hilde Solli
